Simon Wrenn - Borough Councillor for Northaw & Cuffley

My name is Simon Wrenn and I first stood for election to the Council in May 2018.  I was fortunate enough to be elected as a Borough Councillor for Northaw and Cuffley. As a newcomer to local politics, I very much enjoyed campaigning for the council elections, getting out and about, meeting people and discovering the issues that are important to residents across the borough.

Alongside my fellow Councillors, I will be holding regular surgeries within my ward at 9am on the last Saturday of each month at the Parish Council offices in Cuffley.

I live in Welwyn with my wife and three young children and have spent the last 13 years living in Hertfordshire. My career has been spent working in the Facilities Management industry, including setting up and running my own business for several years. I am currently the Managing Director for a Hatfield based company which employs over 800 staff across the country.

In my spare time I like to combine marathon running with travel and have been fortunate enough to complete marathons in locations as diverse as the Sahara Desert, Antarctica, the North Pole and the Atacama desert.
