I was born in Cyprus and came to the UK to study. After graduating, I trained as a Certified Accountant and have been a partner in a public practice firm in North London for over 30 years.
Members of my family have lived in Cuffley and Goffs Oak since 1975 and this was the reason my wife and I moved to Brookmans Park in 1993, where we raised a daughter and a son.
I was first elected a councillor over 10 years ago, first in Howlands and then in Northaw and Cuffley. I am proud to have served these wards and over the years I have met many residents and assisted some in resolving issues with bin collections, housing and other matters.
I have served on the Resources and Audit Committees and chaired both at various times. I was nominated on the Shadow Board of the Welwyn Hatfield Community Housing Trust and served as one of its Trustee Directors until its dissolution.
Regular surgeries are held from 9am to 10am on the last Saturday of each month except May, at the Parish Council Offices in Cuffley and residents are welcome to come along to discuss any problem or issue concerning Council services.
