Hollybush: Nick PACE

I am a ward councillor for Hollybush & have been since 2010. I have lived in Hertfordshire all of my life & have worked in corporate finance for over 30 years, in Herts & Essex and use this experience to chair the Council’s Resource Overview & Audit Committees, as well as Development Management. I take these roles very seriously & honoured to chair & serve on these committees.

I have two teenage daughters at secondary school within the borough & they are the reason I became involved in politics. I was outraged with the decision to take maternity out of the QE2 hospital, having seen at first hand the wonderful local service they provided when my girls were born there & rather than just stewing on it, I decided I’d try to make a difference. I’m fully backing our local MP’s endeavours with the local NHS trust.

When I’m not attending council meetings, helping residents or working, I love to watch football & rugby & enjoy live music. I’m a member of the England Rugby Club & attend as many games as possible, when time allows. I am also a member at West Ham United Football Club. I have a wide range of musical taste ranging from house music, to the Arctic Monkeys.
